Zertia US Corp’s Impartiality Policy
Being impartial and being perceived to be impartial are guiding principles for Zertia US Corp (Zertia) to provide confidence and trust in our services to our clients and other interested parties.
We carry out our management system certification activities, manage conflict of interest and ensure the objectivity of our management system certification activities.
- Zertia is a legal entity dedicated to providing audit, certification and training services and is structured and managed in a manner that ensures impartiality.
- To obtain and maintained confidence, our decisions on certifications are based on objective evidence.
- We manage any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest and mitigate the risks to impartiality through ongoing risk management and the involvement of an impartiality committee.
- Prior to accepting a new contract we verify if there is a threat to impartiality and make sure we mitigate any related risks.
- Our personnel are required to declare any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest prior to accepting any assignment, or if such conflict of interest occurs during their assignment.
- Auditors and all other personnel involved in the certification activities must abide by Zertia’s Code of conduct and Ethics.
- Zertia does not offer or provide management system consultancy, either directly or indirectly through other service providers.
- Zertia does not endorse consultancy services.
- Zertia does not offer certification to organizations for which it has provided internal audits within the past two years.
- Arranging training and participating as a trainer is not considered consultancy, provided that, where the course relates to management systems or auditing, it is confined to the provision of generic information.
- Zertia does not offer or provide internal audits to certified clients.
- Zertia does not offer management system certification to other certification bodies.
- Zertia does not outsource auditing and certification services to other organizations.
- Zertia does not outsource certification decisions.
